KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): Mullah Abdul Rauf Arafi has been appointed as new leader of a Taliban splinter group, led by Mullah Rasoul, the group’s spokesman Mullah Abdul Rahman Niazi said on Saturday. SHIBERGHAN (Pajhwok): Afghan forces’ airstrikes killed at least 18 insurgents, including two Uzbek fighters, in Qush Tepa district of northe Jawzjan province, an official said on Tuesday. Jawzjan police chief Brig. Gen.
