SHEBRGHAN (Pajhwok): A boy has killed his six years old sister while playing with a hunting gun in Mangjak district of northweste Jwzjan province, an official said on Monday. Mohammad Reza Ghafoori, the goveor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the incident took place when a seven years old boy was playing with a hunting gun and mistakenly pressed its trigger. He said the gun fire hit the girl and killed her. The brother and sister were playing with the gun alone in a room of their house and their parents and family members were in the house’s yard when the incident happened, he added. SAR-I-PUL (Pajhwok): Eleven Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers, including their commander, have surrendered to the Taliban in the Sozma Qala district of northe Sar-i-Pul province, an official said on Sunday. Goveor Mohammad Zahir Wahdat told Pajhwok Afghan News Commander Shah Wali, in-charge of ANA unit in Kor-Khab locality developed links with his father who was the Taliban’s shadow district chief for Takhar’s Dasht-i-Qala district. ZARANJ (Pajhwok): Four security persoel have been killed in a Taliban attack in the Khashrod district of Nimroz province, an official said on Friday. The fatalities occurred last night when the insurgents stormed a security check-post in the Jagin area of the district, the official said, requesting anonymity. He added the Taliban initially plaed an attack on the district centre, but later changed their mind and assaulted the post on the Zaranj-Dilaram highway.
