GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Local officials on Saturday said security situation in southe Ghazni province was deteriorating with each passing day after the Ministry of Interior (MoI) downsized police force in the province. ZARANJ (Pajhwok): A roadside explosion killed three Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers and injured four others on Tuesday in Dilaram district of southweste Nimroz province, an official said. Najibullah Hayat, the district chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News the blast occurred on the Herat-Kandahar highway. The injured soldiers were evacuated to the Dilaram district’s hospital and their health condition was satisfactory. “The landmine has been recently planted by the insurgents on the highway,” he added. KABUL (Pajhwok): Forty percent of Afghanistan’s population lacks access to healthcare services and medicines imported to the country are of poor quality and most of drugstores are open without pharmacists, officials said on Thursday.
