    GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Local officials on Saturday said security situation in southe Ghazni province was deteriorating with each passing day after the Ministry of Interior (MoI) downsized police force in the province. Hamidullah Nawroz, head of the Provincial Council (PC) told Pajhwok Afghan News Ghazni was promoted to the first rank from the second rank provinces but the govement provided no facilities deserved by the first rank category.   • 3 Afghan soldiers killed, 4 injured in Nimroz blast

    ZARANJ (Pajhwok): A roadside explosion killed three Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers and injured four others on Tuesday in Dilaram district of southweste Nimroz province, an official said. Najibullah Hayat, the district chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News the blast occurred on the Herat-Kandahar highway. The injured soldiers were evacuated to the Dilaram district’s hospital and their health condition was satisfactory. “The landmine has been recently planted by the insurgents on the highway,” he added.     ZARANJ (Pajhwok): Four security persoel have been killed in a Taliban attack in the Khashrod district of Nimroz province, an official said on Friday. The fatalities occurred last night when the insurgents stormed a security check-post in the Jagin area of the district, the official said, requesting anonymity. He added the Taliban initially plaed an attack on the district centre, but later changed their mind and assaulted the post on the Zaranj-Dilaram highway.     CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): A suicide bomber rammed his explosives-laden car into a NATO forces convoy in Bagram district of central Parwan province late on Monday, injuring three Afghan policemen, an official said. The suicide attack on the coalition forces took place in Qala Nasro area at about 6pm, the Bagram district chief, Abdul Shakoor Qados, told Pajhwok Afghan News. He said three policemen escorting the convoy were injured in the blast that damaged a NATO vehicle, but caused no casualties to the inteational troops.
