MAZAR-I-SHARIF (Pajhwok): The urban court in northe Balkh province on Saturday sentenced four persons to 15 years in jail each over kidnapping a child. The court handed down the sentences at an open hearing in Mazar-i-Sharif, the provincial capital. Besides parties to the case, joualists and common people were also present at the trial. KABUL (Pajhwok): As many as 81 attoeys have been killed during the past 14 years in Afghanistan and no one in coection with their murders could be detained, the Attoey General’s Office (AGO) said on Saturday.
