10 Taliban eliminated in Badakhshan clash

FAIZABAD (Pajhwok): Ten Taliban were have been killed and some wounded in security forces airstrikes on the insurgents hideouts in the Raghistan district of northeaste Badakhshan province, an official said on Saturday.

Police Chief Brig. Gen. Ghulam Sakhi Ghafori told Pajhwok Afghan News the Taliban launched attack on security forces check-posts late on Friday.

He said the fighting was still underway and reinforcement was about to arrive soon. According to reports ten Taliban were perished in airstrikes and scores wounded.
