Policeman killed, woman wounded in Bagrami explosion

KABUL (Pajhwok): One person was killed and two others were wounded in a bomb blast in the Bagrami district of Kabul on Saturday, an official said.

Col. Faridoon Obaidi, crime branch chief for the 101^st Asmayee Police Zone, told Pajhwok Afghan News the explosion happened in Hussainkhel area at 7am.

He said one policeman was killed and two otherpeople, including a woman,were injured when their pick-up was hit by a roadside bomb.Police have launched an investigation.

No grouphas so far claimed responsibility, but the govement often blamesthe Taliban for such attacks.
